Siyi Xiang is a Connecticut-based scenic designer from China.
She is currently completing her MFA in Scenic Design at the University of Connecticut and holds a BA in Theatre from the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing.
Her work is driven by storytelling, atmosphere, and research, with a focus on creating spaces that support both the emotional life of a production and its larger visual world.
Her practice includes scenic design, painting, model making, drafting, and visual development for theatre.
